So what does Crochet have to do with Cookies? Nothing really.
But, when you’re sitting at a craft show and things are going slow, you start looking for something productive to do. Unfortunately, there is nothing Cookie related you can do at a show– You can’t bake, you can’t decorate, and you can’t even package. But you can work on non-food crafts!
So Dianna started crocheting her little critters. At first, it was just something fun to pass the time. When the number of critters started added up, and people expressed interest in buying some, a new side business was added and 2 Cute 2 Resist Crochet was launched.
Since then, I’ve had a lot of fun making different and one-of-a-kind pieces for market. Starting from simple Owls and Gnomes, progressing into plushies like cats, pigs, and bears, and finally include making my own designs like my Squishy Fishies and Mermaids.
Customers can purchase any of my ready made pieces at our Craft Shows or can request a custom made piece, where they get to specify the type colors used. Prices typically range from $10 -$50 depending on the amount of yarn used and time spent. Email requests to 2Cute2EatCookies@gmail.com.
